• Top-ups can be applied anytime—whether the eSIM is active, expired, or ready.

• Multiple top-ups can be added in advance, ensuring continuous coverage.

• Automatic activation—when the current plan expires, the next top-up takes over, as long as the user is in the same country.

This gives businesses complete control over connectivity and costs while reducing the risk of unexpected data loss.

How to Add a Travel eSIM Top-Up

The new ‘Add Top-Up’ button is now available for all travel eSIMs inside the PiPcall portal.

Step-by-Step Guide to Adding a Top-Up:

1. Log in to the PiPcall Management Portal.

2. Select an eSIM from the list.

3. Click ‘Add Top-Up’ (available for expired, active, and ready eSIMs).

4. Choose from the available top-up options for that country.

5. Proceed with secure payment using a saved or new card.

6. The top-up is applied instantly, refreshing the data balance.

The process is quick, flexible, and efficient, giving admin teams an easy way to extend mobile connectivity without delays.‍

New User Interface Enhancements

To support the new top-up feature, we’ve introduced UI improvements to the PiPcall portal, making it easier to track and manage travel eSIM plans.

New Status Icons:

• Green Play Icon – Shows the active plan.

• Pause Icon – Indicates queued top-ups waiting to activate.

• Expired Plan View – Displays expired plans for easy reference.‍

Plan Details View:

• Users can now switch between active and upcoming top-ups in a tabbed view.

• Clicking on any top-up reveals detailed usage stats.

Customer Usage View Update:

• Employees receiving travel eSIM usage emails will now see an ‘Up Next’ section, showing available top-ups that will activate when needed.
